404 Error for New WordPress Multisite

I have recently set up my Wordpress installation for Multisite. I ran through the multisite installation, set up wildcard domains in CPanel and made the required modifications to the wp-config.php and htacess files. Multisite installation has worked and I can create a new site. But when I try to go into the dashboard of the new site, I get a 404 error. Fortunately my existing/primary site still works. What could be going wrong?

Hello, Thank you for your question regarding a 404 error on a WordPress MultiSite. You may be expriencing propagation, essentially newly created domains/subdomains can take up to 24 hours to resolve. If this time has already lapsed, check the DNS of the new site to ensure it is pointed to your server. If your problems persist I recommend following our WordPress Troubleshooting guide.
