Can I use BoldGrid before my domain's nameserver change is processed?

i've logged into 1and1 and changed the nameservers for my domain to ns1.inmotionhosting.com and ns2.inmotionhosting.com
1and1 say it could take 48 hours for this to be processed. can i start building my website in boldgrid now or do i have to wait?
