I am trying to setup Vaultpress for a backup of my site. It is asking for the SSH credentials. Where do I find these?

Hello, thank you for your question about configuring JetPack. I'm more than happy to assist! When you're configuring JetPack, you would need to login using your wordpress.com account. If you have not created a wordpress.com account, you will be given the option to do so when setting up JetPack. Please check out our step by step guide on how to configure JetPack. If you are still having trouble connecting, I would recommend contacting our Support team for account-specific assistance.

Have a great day,

I'm attempting to configure Jetpack for my wordpress site. It's asking for server credentials - server username and server password. What information to I provide?

Hello, Thank you for your question about SSH credentials. Regarding VPS/Dedicated servers and shared servers, the SSH account enabled by default is the same as the cPanel username and password. For VPS/Dedicated, however, you will need to make sure that the Vaultpress IP address is added to the firewall. Best, Christopher M.
