When SSL details don't match WHOIS details

In the guides to set up SSL it mentions that the SSL details should match the WHOIS details. I checked the WHOIS details and they don't match my personal information. But I'm not sure if I haven't set something up properly for the WHOIS data, or if it's supposed to be that way and I'm just supposed to make sure it matches.

Would you suggest how I should proceed? Thanks!

Hello TheDuck21, Thank you for your question regarding SSL and when SSL details don't match WHOIS details. Thank you for your question about ordering an SSL. Comodo (our SSL provider) no longer checks against your WHOIS information but does require that you use correct information in your SSL request. If your domain is registered with us, you can update your WHOIS information directly in AMP (Account Management Panel). Privacy can remain on your domain's WHOIS record if you have purchased that. Thank you, John-Paul
