Entry for autodiscovery.outlook.com not working

Hi - I am working with Microsoft tech support to solve an issue we have traced back to autodiscovery,
specifically in CPANEL I need the entry for autodiscovery.outlook.com as my CNAME with a TTL 3600 per the domain settings DNS entries. CPANEL is wanting me to use an autodiscovery.doamin.com which won't work as is. Can you suggest a workaround as we can't enter in that value? Thanks - BRETT CALDER, [email protected] and [email protected]

Hello Brett, Thanks for the question about your CNAME DNS entry. The "autodiscovery.outlook.com" CNAME is literally for "Outlook.com" - you will not be able to enter that into your domain name, which I'm sure is not "outlook.com". If you add a domain name into cPanel, the "autodiscover" CNAME is automatically added for that domain name. If you want add one that specifically for Outlook.com, it will always take on this type format: autodiscovery.outlook.domain_name.com. There is no way to put in just autodiscovery.outlook.com. I hope this helps to clarify the matter. If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know. Regards, Arnel C.
