I cannot get to my wordpress dashboard
I have been working with support and they directed me here as they aren't sure why I can't login to my dashboard. Basically I just get redirected back to my main page. Occasionally it will show the black ribbon but never a way in.

We have changed php versions, reinstalled WP, upgraded WP, removed the themes, removed the plugins. I changed the DB prefix back to wp_ still no go. Any help would be appreciated as I am basically locked out.

When we try creating a new user it fails as well.
I'm not getting wp admin panel login page, even i used mu www.mydomain.com/wp-admin/

I Cannot Login To My Wordpress Dashboard More Than 4Days
Since the day inmotion team helped me to moved my websites to another hosting ( I was previously having two accounts with you( all wordpress sites) I have not been able to login to my wordpress dashboard. And these has course alots of problem to move. The first time I told them to moved my site, it was on 15th of July, when they finally did the whole moving and connect the necessary dns or something, it was just four days ago or thereabout. Now one of my sites have lost a great deal of articles, since a news site.

But that is not the issue, the issue is that, I cannot login, it keeps redirecting me to login, I have done alots in my own little part. unistall all plugins, adding url in function.php, clear all cache, check my .htacess etc. all in vain. Your support team have helped, they are the one that direct me to you. It is complicated than what they could handle. And here are mine, you are mine last resort

The website I am talking about is www.entertainmentnewsnigeria.com

Please helped me. There is no other way I can do it.

When it was initially transferred , i was able to login, I was able to install some plugins such extended recent posts, searchiq, hide My Login or is it wordpress I can't remember. I am suspecting the Hide My Login, "bollar" was what i used in the hide my login. Now none is working. Please help me. God bless you, it keeps redirecting me to login page without saying the error. This is the continue url I do see >>> http://www.entertainmentnewsnigeria.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.entertainmentnewsnigeria.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

Waiting for you earnestly

Can't login to wordpress
Hello,
I recently bought a hosting plan here, wanting to move my website here. After installing wordpress, I moved the website with a plugin (All-in-One WP Migration). Now I can't login, I type the user and the password and the page just refreshes, nothing happens, no error, even if I type a wrong password, it's the same.
I've used this migration plugin hundreds of times on many hosting services and never encountered this problem.
This is the website http://*********.com/.
Please help!
Thank you!
I cannot login to my WP dashboard
We bought a fully managed dedicated server (Elite) just yesterday and your team has installed WP on it today. I've uploaded the theme we'll use through FTP a few minutes ago. Everything was working fine. But now I cannot login to WP dashboard (first too many redirects error, now HTTP 404 error). And I cannot access the server via FTP (ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server). What's happening? How can we fix this?

Cannot login to my Dashboard
Hello Folks!
My website is doing fine (http://muslimweddingflight.com/site-map) and having visitors daily. However, the number of visitors has tremendously affected as I have not been able to post recently since I'm unable to login to my Dashboard. When I login, I get the following message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function sanitize_key() in /home1/zayaf121/public_html/wp-includes/post.php on line 1001
On my Cpanel I visited the Wp-Includes/post.php and found the following lines and I don't know what to edit:
// Sanitize post type name
$post_type = sanitize_key( $post_type );
$args = wp_parse_args( $args );

I tried making changes to the wp-config.php through Cpanel as explained on this Website but nothing changed. I'm unable to reinstall Wordpress as I'm not that computer savvy.

I would be grateful for a kind solution to resolve the above issue enabling me to login to my dashboard.

Best Regards,
Fayaz Pasha

I cannot access the login page for wordpress

I can't login to my wordpress site - my usual login link results in a 404

Hi

I can't login to my wordpress site - my usual login link results in a 404. The message I receive is:

Error 404 - Not Found
The document you are looking for may have been removed or re-named. Please contact the web site owner for further assistance.

As far as I am aware, neither myself or my staff have changed any settings on the back end of the website.

My usual login link is:

http://www.deadlinedigital.co.uk/wordpress/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.deadlinedigital.co.uk%2Fwordpress%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

Hello MNoll,

Sorry for the issues with the login. Your previous answer was based on the basic login issues with WordPress. We would need more information on your account and the login issue in order to give you more specific troubleshooting steps.  Is this an issue of a forgotten password? Or are you getting an error message?  We need more information in order to determine what's happening with your login.  Please at least provide your domain name and we would be happy to investigate the matter in more depth.

If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.

Kindest regards,

Thanks for contacting us and submitting a question about a 404 error on WordPress login. it looks like there is a redirect happening on the usual login URL. I'd advise contacting your live support so they can verify your account and access the files directly.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues getting to your WordPress dashboard. In testing different things, we have ruled out the theme and files. The issue now lies within your database. This is likely due to a change that one of the plugins made. Unfortunately turning the plugins off does not affect the database, so the issue persists.
Do you have any idea which plugin was last installed before the issue began? That may help identify what caused the issue.

Kindest Regards,

Hello uberpa6,

Thank you for your question regarding issues logging into WordPress after migrating. I recommend following our WordPress Troubleshooting guide to narrow down the cause.

Since this is just our public forums, I marked out your domain name for security purposes.

Hello Mikeell,

Sorry to hear about your issue with the login of entertainmentnewsnigeria.com. In taking a look at the plugins, we see the Hide My WordPress is not in the list. It did leave a line of code in the wp-config.com where it changed theADMIN_COOKIE_PATH variable. Commenting that line out (the first line of code in the file) allows you to log in again.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us about the 404 error you are seeing you try to log into WordPress. If you are having with a 404 error while trying to find your WordPress admin directory then there could be an issue with the WordPress installation, but the FTP error could suggest a network problem. At the moment, we are having some connectivity issues with the West Coast. If your server is on the West Coast, this could be part of the problem.

Here is a link to our status page, where you can find more information:

Hello,

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with accessing your admin login page. I visited your site, went to 'example.com/wp-admin' and it appeared fine. I can see the login page where you will need to enter your admin name and password.

What do you see when you go to that page? Are you timing out? Are you seeing something different? Have you tried with different browsers? devices? networks?

Kindest Regards,

Hello Fayaz,

Thank you for your question on getting the 'Call to undefined function sanitize_key()' error in your WordPress. The most recent information I found recommends replacing the file with a fresh copy from a download of your specific WordPress version. This means downloading a copy of the same version of WordPress you are using, extracting it on your local machine, and finding the /wp-includes/post.php. Rename that file on your server so you do not overwrite it (say to post.php.old) and then upload the one from your computer. That may correct the issue for you.

Hello InMotionFans,

Thank you for your contacting us about an issue accessing your WordPress Dashboard. Since your "Warning" and "Fatal error" both mention plugin (/plugins/wordpress-seo/wp-seo-main.php), I recommend Disabling your Plugins in WordPress as a test. A common troubleshooting technique is to disable all of your WordPress plugins. If this resolves the issue, then you'll want to enable each plugin one by one and test your site until you determine which plugin is causing the issue. This is part of our full Common WordPress Troubleshooting Techniques guide.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.

Thank you,

John-Paul
