Domain Transfer issue please

I just signed up with your company. I'm trying to transfer my domain, but I'm getting this error:
"The domain is locked. Contact the company you registered the domain with to unlock the domain."
I was able to unlock my domain through their control panel. I've contacted the current company and I'm waiting for their response, I just wanted to make sure everything was good on your end. I don't have any Domain controls and looking at my billing I'm just seeing "Web Hosting" and nothing about Domain registration.

Thank you for your question about domain locks. Yes, hosting is separate from domain registration. Once you have received a reply from your current domain registrar, and successfully unlocked the domain, you can transfer the domain to your account with us.
