using an image as a button

I have uploaded an image to my WP library. I would like to add the image to one of my pages as a "button", such that when a user clicks on the image, it takes them to some other URL. How do I do this?

Hello, Thank you for contacting us about editing and image in WordPress. When you are adding the image as media there is option to edit the image before or after you post it. You will want to edit the "Attachment Display Settings" for the image under "Link to:". You have the option of linking your image to a "Custom URL". That is the option you will need.
