Magento 2.0: Set up Version for module is not specified

I was attempting to install a theme by ThemeForest and followed their set up, http://www.magentech.com/documentation/sm-market-magento-2/#run-dialog. After transferring all the files from the theme to our root folder, it was noted that I should " verify Composer installation, Deploy static content, Clear compiled code and the cache, Reindex the Magento 2 blocks." I had InMotion Hosting Techincal Support, Brain Ch, help me verify because I wasn't sure how. Out of the 4, Composer installation had failed. After some research we found that there was files missing, so we installed composer and updated it. After that the website shutdown and only shows, "There has been an error processing your request." I was told to wait it out and there wasn't any more that he could do.

I called up Techinal Support today and they debugged that one of the modules from the theme isn't set up properly. It shows "Setup verison for module 'Sm_BasicProducts' is not specified." This can be seen at americanretailsupply.net

How can I correctly set up the module?

Thank you for any help that I can get.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us about an issue setting up a 3rd party theme. We are happy to help you troubleshoot further, but will need some additional information.

What specific version of Magento 2.0 are you running? For example, are you running Magento Community Edition 2.0.4?

Do you have the "SM Basic Products" module installed and setup? make sure the module version is compatible with your version of Magento.

Thank you,
John-Paul
