I need to edit a Theme

I just installed WP but it has a theme I dont know how to avoid, I used to do backend editor, add text blocks, single or carrousel images, etc. I want to do that way again but dont know how.

Hello, Thank you for your question regarding recovering your theme editor. If you want to modify a WordPress theme, you should create what's called a child theme.
