Easy way to cleanup website

I suspect I have a lot of duplicate and/or old unused data on the website, because we've updated our website a few times, and kept the copy each time. Is there an easy way to identify what's no longer used and delete those from the website?

Hello Enxmag5,

Thanks for the question about cleaning up your old website files. Unfortunately, if you're not familiar with the necessary files, it may be difficult to determine what is necessary and not necessary. I would recommend looking at the files by date. If you have a bunch of files in folders that have nothing to do with your active websites, then those files (and folders) may be candidates for removal. In general though, website files are grouped together based on the the website's root folder. Before you start spring cleaning, make sure that you have made a complete backup. That way, you can easily recover should you have mistakenly removed a required file or folder.

If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.
