Email client "(SMTP) secure178.inmotionhosting.com expired" error.

Sending email from my client Thunderbird I often (unpredictably) receive the following error message: "(SMTP) secure178.inmotionhosting.com expired error. Retry.". Thunderbird email account are set as follows: Incoming: IMAP Incoming server: secure178.inmotionhosting.com Port: 993 SSL: SSL/TLS Autentication: Normal Password Username: @.com Outgoing: SMTP Outgoing server: secure178.inmotionhosting.com SSL: SSL/TLS Port: 465 SSL: SSL/TLS Autentication: Normal Password Username: @.com O.S. Windows 10 build 10586 Thunderbird client version 38.5.1 Antivirus Avast! with "Email SSL scan" disabled.

Thank you for your question regarding SMTP. Did this problem just come up recently or is hit and miss? This error is usually only resolved by removing the email account from Thunderbird and re-adding it back. I would suggest trying that first to see if it resolves the issue.
