How to Setup FTP with FileZilla?

Hello,

Few days ago, I signed up with Inmotion Hosting and I hope to transfer my website from ipage to inmotion hosting.

I tried to upload my backups to root folder and I used cpanel login details to connect via FileZilla. I followed this tutorial and it didn't work for me.

How do I connect with Filezilla.

Is there a live chat support? How to find it.

Hello Woblog5, We're sorry to hear that you problems with setting up and using FTP (using the FileZilla client) with your account. You didn't provide us enough detail to determine what might be causing the problem. At the bottom of every question page, you can find the chat support link, if you still need it. Or, you can also click on this link to see the various ways to reach our live technical support team. Typically, FTP requires a URL and then credentials to login. Using the quick connect option in FileZilla, the port would be port 21. If your URL is not connected with us, then you can use the server name for your account. You can find that information by looking at the technical information option in the Account Management Panel. The login user and password you should be using for full access to your account is your cPanel user and password. If you continue to have problems with the login, then definitely contact our live support team as they can immediately correct the issue for you. If you have any further questions, please let us know. Kindest regards, Arnel C.
