offer a download from my web site
I want to offer a free download of an image from my web site. I use creative cloud programs. I've never come across any manual which explains how to set this up, yet I've seen it on the web. The image is png format.
Thank you for your question on offering image downloads on your site. If you are simply allowing anyone to come and get the image, a simple standard anchor (href) link to the file will be fine. If you wish to ensure the link actually downloads and the visitors browser does not simply display the image on their screen, you may want to wrap it in a .zip file. This way the image will always be downloaded when the link is clicked.
