problems posting after wordpress site hosting transfer

Hi,

I have had several of my wordpress sites transferred from my old hosting to my new hosting with inmotion by the support team. That's gone great and I can now access, however there is a big issue.

I can log into the sites however there is something quite strange with the panels. When I go to create a new post in 'Posts' it says 'object from empty value in /home/george94/public_html/adthings/wp-admin/includes/post.php on line 631' and although I'm admin and I've previously (on old hosting) just pressed 'publish' it now says 'submit for review' and once I click that it says 'You are not allowed to edit this post.'

Appreciate any help.

Many thanks,
George

Hello George,

Sorry for the problems with your Posts in your WordPress sites. I took a look at the installation, and ran a script to correct permissions. Typically, during migrations some permissions for files and folders may have been missed as they need to be properly set after the migration. Please check the issue again, and if it happens once more, please reply to your completed migration ticket stating the issue. The techs who completed the migration would need to review your problem and make sure that file permissions and ownership have been correctly set. Apologies again for the problem, but please check to make sure that it hasn't fixed at this point.

If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.

Regards,
Arnel C.
