High CPU Usage when uploading images

On my photography website (shared hosting - "Power"), I get high CPU usage - usually get to 100% on every time I upload images before I can do the editing for pages / post etc on my Wordpress using Divi themes. With Envira Gallery, WP Everest form and other plugins for Divi themes. How can this be improve in performance? Upgrade (to Pro) or using W3 Total Cache (doubt it for uploading)?

PHP update and HTTP ERROR 500

Hi, In full disclosure, I send a trouble ticket on this to Inmotion but I’d like to learn how to fix this since it affects so many of my websites. That being said, I’ve been in Inmotion about six years and they have great support, I just want to understand this issue.

I’m trying to update my php from 5.6 to 7.0 + but after I update the php, my website(s) gives me this error message.

This page is not working
Website name is currently unable to handle the request
HTTP ERROR 500

When I download the php the website works fine.

I have several websites on my VPS hosting and some will update while others won’t. I update weekly so I know everything is up to date plus I double check that. I’ve tried disabling plugins and theme but still get the same issue. I’ve tried researching the issue but really not sure what to do. Could someone please give me some advice.

Thank you
Kim

Does anyone know of a php compatibility checker?

Hi, I'm having trouble updating my php for Wordpress. When I update it keeps giving me errors on my website. I'm trying to find a php compatibility checker. The one php checker plugin I found has several bad reviews so I thought I'd ask here if anyone know of a php compatibility checker for Wordpress.
Thank you

Required field in profile

I am planning on adding a new field to the Moodle user profile page and it will be set to be a required field for new registrants. Will this have any affect to users who are currently in the database? I learned the hard way when I first disabled PayPal on a class and lost all the participants who registered using PayPal. Did find a work-a-round.. I just don't want to lose anyone who previously enrolled because they don't have the new item in their profile. Thanks.

No API connection with Mautic

I installed Mautic and use Thrives (Wordpress Plugin) on a other host.

After setup the API connection I could use the Thrive Optin builder in coorperation with Mautic.
Today the API is not working propperly, I can't choose a (Mautic) mailing list.

Something is changed on the server, maybe an update or so.
Somebody knows how to solve this?

Thanks
Peter
