Welcome to your Website Creator account! When you log into your account you will have a direct link to access the WordPress site that comes loaded with BoldGrid to quickly build your site. You will also have the management features within the Account Management Panel (AMP). If you want a quick guide on the different features of the Account Management Panel (AMP), then please review our introductory tutorial on AMP. We are going to show you how you can quickly log into your Website Creator so that you can get started with building your website. There are two ways to get to it, through the Account Management Panel (AMP), or by using the URL for the WordPress administrator.
Logging into your Website Creator account through the Account Management Panel (AMP)
Go to the InMotion Hosting home page: https://www.inmotionhosting.com and then click on the AMP Login in the top right corner of the page.
When you first sign up for your account you will receive an email that provides your login credentials for the Account Management Panel (AMP). If you have any problems with the login and need immediate assistance, please call in to our live technical support team. Type in your login credentials, then click on the check box for the reCaptcha security option to prove you’re not a robot.
- Click on the Login button to login. Note that you can also use the options to recover or reset your password if you have any problems with the login.
That completes your login to the Website Creator. At this point you are in the BoldGrid Administrator screen. If you need to reset or access the user for logging into the BoldGrid Administrator dashboard, then you can click on Users and reset (or set) the password as necessary.
Logging into the Website Creator using the WordPress Login
If you have a need to login directly to the BoldGrid Administrator (also called the WordPress Administrator), then you can do that by using the URL specified for that purpose. This URL can be modified by plug-ins used for security, but we will be using the default login provided by the WordPress install. In order to know that, you need to know the URL that was used for your WordPress installation. This is normally based on the domain name used for the account. You can find this information in the Account Management Panel (AMP) if needed.
- Type in the domain name followed by “wp-admin.” Here’s a an example: https://domain-name.com/wp-admin. Hit enter after you have typed the address
- After you hit enter you will see the WordPress login screen. Type in the user name and password for your Administrator user. If you need to get your username and password for the WordPress login, use the AMP login as described above to access your WordPress account and then set up your user
- Click on Login
Congratulations, you now know how to login to the Website Creator account with either the Account Management Panel (AMP) or the WordPress administrator login option. If you want to learn more about using Website Creator, then check our Product Guide
