Softaculous Email Notifications

Application developers keep their programs secure and up-to-date by continually providing updates. These updates can be missed if you are not checking for them. Softaculous has the capability to provide email reminders for any application that it installs. We will show how to enable, disable and change the email address used for these notifications in the following tutorial.

Why should I update my website application?

If you use any type of computer, you are aware that updates are a part of life with both the hardware and software sides of your device. The same is true of your website software. Updates are important because they include security patches, bug fixes, and updated features. You should keep up with all updates if only for the security patches so that your data remains safe from possible exploits.
