# How to Edit Softaculous Email Templates

In this article, we’ll cover how to edit Softaculous email templates from WebHost Manager (WHM).

This article only applies to [VPS](https://www.inmotionhosting.com/vps-hosting) and [Dedicated Hosting](https://www.inmotionhosting.com/dedicated-servers) servers.

### Edit Email Templates

To customize the template for this email:

1. [Log in to WHM](/support/edu/whm/log-into-whm/#whm-root-access) as [root](/support/amp/obtain-root-access/).
2. On the left, select **Softaculous – Instant Installer**.
3. On the left, select **Settings**, then **Email Templates**.
4. Click the edit icon to the right of a template.
5. After editing the subject and content, click **Save Email Template**.
