## Clear KaiOS Browser Cache and Cookies

1. Open your phone menu
2. Select **Settings**
3. Press the right arrow button to view **Privacy & Security**
4. Scroll down and select **Browsing Privacy**
5. Select **Clear Browsing History**
6. Select **Clear** to confirm
7. Select **Clear Cookies and Stored Data**
8. Select **Clear** to confirm

### Check KaiOS Web Browser to Verify Changes

1. Open your phone menu
2. Select **Browser**
3. Press your right arrow button to view **History**
4. Verify that there are **No websites here**

## Clear UC Browser History

**[UC Browser](https://www.ucweb.com/)** (available from the [KaiOS Store](https://www.kaiostech.com/store/apps/?bundle_id=com.UCMobile.intl)) users must clear it’s browser history within the application.

1. Open **UC Browser**
2. At the bottom, under *History*, scroll to **See More** and press **Select**
3. Select **Options**
4. Select **Clear**
5. Select **Clear** again to confirm clearing all UC Browser history
6. Press your back button to return to the UC Browser homepage
7. Verify that the bottom, under *History*, states *! No History*

## Enable Do Not Track on KaiOS Phones

In your KaiOS phone settings, you can also enable Do Not Track (DNT) to tell websites and applications that you prefer your activity not be tracked for [digital fingerprinting](https://www.techradar.com/in/news/internet/how-linux-can-help-you-protect-your-privacy-online-1094887/3).

1. In your phone menu, select **Settings**
2. Press the right arrow button to view **Privacy & Security**
3. Scroll down and select **Do Not Track**
4. Select **Tell websites and apps that I do not want to be tracked** to **Save** changes
