Thoughts on “How to Edit Pages in BoldGrid

    • If you wish to edit mobile content, click the edit button of the drag handle. This will present a menu and you can select the icon that will give you options to hide elements on mobile. There is no option to specifically change the font.

  • For some reason, whenever I place a shape around a column and update the page the shape does not display. Basically I want to place a border around the column. How does one do that?

    • This depends on the column that you’re trying to change. If go to the column and then click on the BLUE handle (Edit Column), there’s usually an option for shape. You can add a shape to that column. If you want to change the border width, you would have to go to Column Shape and then click on Customize Design. You can then play with the padding levels in the column there. For further control you can try using the Advanced option. Otherwise you would have to use custom CSS to change further formatting. If you’re not familiar with this, then we recommend that you speak with a website programmer for further assistance.

  • Hos can I edit the text i the inspiration page that I selected? It says “Great writers make for great reading”.

The only option I have found is to edit the corresponding index.html file.

    • I am unsure of the theme you are using, but it sounds like you want to change the text int he ‘Call to Action’ widget. To do that, go to the Widgets tab in the customizer, and click on either the ‘Call to Action’ tab (if it is there) or the tab for the header area, which should then have a ‘Call to Action’ option.

  • How can I edit a page on the staging site?  When I follow the instructions above, only pages that are active appear on the page edit list.

    • If you have any pages on the Staging site, they should appear in the “Staging” development group. You can edit them the same as a regular page.
