As we continue our series on the All-in-One WP Migration plugin, we will now show you how to backup a WordPress site to file. Once the backup is complete you can download and store it in a safe location such as an external hard drive or DVD. This ensures you have a backup available if you want to restore your site after a hack, or your web server experiences issues.
Backup WordPress to File
- Log into your WordPress Dashboard.
Click All-in-One WP Migration then Export in the navigation menu.
Click the Export To button on the next page.
On the drop-down menu select the File option.
It will then generate the WordPress backup. Click the download link once it completes.
