How to Login to your Website Creator Account

Welcome to your Website Creator account!

We know it can be frustrating to have multiple logins to different web accounts. This is why we’ve installed a single sign-on that lets you log into your Website Creator right through your InMotion Hosting Account Management Panel (AMP).

In this article, we’ll cover a few different ways of logging into your WordPress site:

  1. Using the single sign-on through AMP (the quickest, easiest way)
  2. Signing on through your WordPress login URL
  3. Getting further assistance if you have any trouble

(Note: the second method should be used only if you are having trouble using the single sign on.)

Logging Into Website Creator Using AMP Single Sign-on

The single sign-on provides you a button that you can click to instantly log into your Website Creator account from anywhere. All you need to do is remember your AMP login credentials.

  1. Go your InMotion Hosting account login page ?
  2. Log into AMP ?
  3. Click on the icon labelled Manage My Website ?

If, for any reason, the single sign-on does not redirect you to Website Creator dashboard, follow the steps below to recover your WordPress login credentials.

Sign Into Website Creator Using Your WordPress Login

When you set up your Website Creator subscription, you will receive a username and password for WordPress admin purposes. If at some point you should lose these credentials, you can reset your WordPress password in two ways:

  • Using the “Forgot my password” link
  • Accessing the WordPress database

Using the Password Reset Link

WordPress login happens on the same URL for any WordPress site. It will be your domain name followed by /wp-admin/.

For example: https://example.com/wp-admin

This URL will always direct you to the WordPress login page. Here, you will see a prompt to fill in your password or a link to reset your password using your email account.

Click the link to reset your password and check your inbox for a new message from your site. (Be sure to check your spam folder if you don’t see the email after a few minutes.)

Accessing the WordPress Database

Follow along with the steps below to access your WordPress database.

  1. Locate your WordPress database name
  2. Log into cPanel
  3. Select PHPMyAdmin under Databases
  4. Choose your database from the left hand side
  5. Open the database

Now that you’ve located the database, follow the steps in our full guide on resetting your WordPress password from the database.

With these password credentials, you can use the standard WordPress dashboard login URL to gain access to your dashboard.
