# Enabling AbanteCart SEO URLs

For example, when testing with a default AbanteCart installation my “Hair Care” category was originally this URL:

https://example.com/index.php?rt=product/category&path=52

After enabling AbanteCart SEO URLs it was listed as this:

https://example.com/hair-care

## Enable AbanteCart SEO URLs

1. [Login to the AbanteCart Admin panel](https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/software/abantecart/how-to-access-abantecart-admin-panel/).

4. Scroll down and click the **Save** button. You are finished when you see a message stating “Success: You have successfully saved your settings!”
