# AbanteCart Maintenance Mode

## Maintenance Mode

1. Log in to AbanteCart.
2. On the left, select **System**, **Settings**, then **System**.
3. Toggle the **Maintenance Mode** button to **ON**.
4. Click **Save** on the right or at the bottom.
5. Test your AbanteCart store in a [private browsing session](/support/resources/how-to-start-a-private-browsing-session/).
