# How to edit Front Office security in PrestaShop 1.5

After [installing](/support/edu/prestashop/manually-install-prestashop/) and configuring your PrestaShop 1.5 you may edit the Front Office security of your store. This changes a token that is attached to the cookie when visitors come to the site.

**To edit the Front Office security in PrestaShop 1.5:**

1. [Log into your PrestaShop 1.5 dashboard](/support/edu/prestashop/login-to-dashboard/)
2. Using the top menu bar, hover over the **Preferences **tab and select the **General **option.
3. Find the **Increase Front Office Security** option. Select **Yes **to enable the security token or **No **to disable it. It should be on as a default and we do NOT recommend that you turn it off, but you may have your own reasons for doing so.[![preferences-general-edit-front-office-security](https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/edu_prestashop1.5_preferences-general-edit-front-office-security_preferences-general-edit-front-office-security.png)](/support/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/edu_prestashop1.5_preferences-general-edit-front-office-security_preferences-general-edit-front-office-security.png)
4. When finished, click on the green **Save **button in the upper right corner to save your SSL configuration.

You have now edited the **Front Office security** for your PrestaShop 1.5 store.
