# Changing Registration Process Type in PrestaShop 1.5

When users register on your site, there are two parts of the process. The first is the account creation process, where the visitor’s account gets added to the database.
The second part is the adddress creation, where the user enters therir address information. If you want to allow your users to register quicker and get shopping faster, you can
set the Registration process type to require only the account creation portion of the process. The user will then add the address information later on, prior to finishing their first checkout.
Changing the Registration Process Type in PrestaShop 1.5 is simple.

**To change the Registration Process Type setting in PrestaShop 1.5:**

1. [Log into your PrestaShop 1.5 dashboard.](/support/edu/prestashop/login-to-dashboard/)
2. 3. This takes you to the **Preferences : Customers** screen. Find the **Registration Process Type** field. 4. Select **Only Account Creation** for the fastest registration method, or **Standard (account and address creation)** for the complete, up front registration.

You have now successfully changed the Registration Process Type in PrestaShop 1.5
