# Change the Time Zone in PrestaShop 1.7

It’s important to ensure your PrestaShop store matches the timezone of your headquarters. Though you can set this [within the php.ini file](/support/website/set-timezone-in-php/), below we show you how to **set the time zone in your PrestaShop settings** for reassurance.

## Change your PrestaShop 1.7 Time Zone

1. **Login PrestaShop**.
2. On the left, select **International** and **Localization**. 3. In the **Configuration** section, **specify your time zone** before pressing **Save** on the right.
