[![View of home page with default logo PHP-Fusion](https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/edu_php-fusion_104_change-banner-logo_change-banner-1-default.png)](/support/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/edu_php-fusion_104_change-banner-logo_change-banner-1-default.png)

By default PHP-Fusion has their logo at the top of the site. This logo can be customized to your liking. In order to change the logo, you will need to be able to access the server files to upload your own image. The Default image can be seen in the snapshot to the right.

The default banner/logo has a transparent background and is in PNG format. Below is the default logo and a sample log we will replace the default with. You will want to edit the Default banner/logo to retain the original size and file format. The default size of the banner is 255 x 89.

After you have your banner/logo is finished, follow the steps below to change the banner on your site.

## Steps to change the banner/logo

1. [Upload your image](/support/website/how-to-upload-files-server/) to the images folder in your PHP-Fusion [document root directory](/support/website/where-to-upload-files/).
2. [Log into your PHP-Fusion Admin Panel](/support/edu/php-fusion/login-admin-panel/) and go to **Admin panel > Settings > Main**.
3. [![Site Settings PHP-Fusion](https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/edu_php-fusion_104_change-banner-logo_change-banner-2-settings.png)](/support/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/edu_php-fusion_104_change-banner-logo_change-banner-2-settings.png) The *Site Banner* box will show the location of the banner/logo on the server. (See image to the right) **Rename** the following: images/php-fusion-logo.png [![Rename the image path PHP-Fusion](https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/edu_php-fusion_104_change-banner-logo_change-banner-3-rename.png)](/support/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/edu_php-fusion_104_change-banner-logo_change-banner-3-rename.png) So that the image name matches your image name you uploaded.
