# Installing the Specials Module in OpenCart

When you are operating a retail business, at times you may want to run “**specials**” or “**sales**” on some of your products to reduce your inventory. There’s a module installed by default in OpenCart called “**Specials**” that can help you do just that. The Specials module is installed in your OpenCart dashboard.

1. [Log into your OpenCart Dashboard](/support/)
2. Go to **Extensions >> Modules**
3. Find the “**Specials**” Module and click “**Install**”
