# Creating a Contact Page in Movable Type

Movable type doesn’t include a contact form, and we were not easily able to find a compatible form. We suggest using a 3rd party service, such as [jotform](https://www.jotform.com/), which is free.

 
In this tutorial we will show you how to create a contact page in Movable Type using JotForm.

## Create a Contact Page

1. [Sign up for an account with JotForm](https://www.jotform.com/). There is a link on the top right.
2. Watch their [2 minute setup video](https://vimeo.com/13669519#at=0), then [create a form page on their website](https://www.jotform.com/help/2-How-to-Create-Your-First-Web-Form).
3. Click the **My Forms** link, then click the form you want to add to your movable type page.

5. A window will pop up and provide the embed code. Copy that code, then click the **OK** button.
6. [Create a Contact Us type page](/support/edu/movable-type/create-new-page/) in Movable Type.
7. Edit the page, and click the drop-down box next to *Format*. 8. Add the JavaScript to the page, then Publish it. You will then see the form on your page.
