# How to log into your Mambo admin dashboard

After [installing the Mambo application](/support/edu/cpanel/install-softaculous/) on your hosting account, your first task will be to log into the admin area for the first time. Below are the steps necessary to accessing the admininstration interface for Mambo.

## Logging into your Mambo admin interface

1. Using your web browser, visit your website URL. You may log in from one of two places. The left sidebar has a login area, or you can simply add */administrator* to your URL to go to the admin login page. 2. Once you have identified which login are to use, simply enter the admin **username** and **password**you created when installing the program.  
3. Once the data is entered, click on the **Login**button to verify.

If you used the Administration login page you will automatically be taken to the admin interface shown here.
