# Delete Customer Group in Magento 1.6

Magento 1.6 allows you to create customer groups. At any time you need to remove or delete a customer group it can be easily done. Customer groups are deleted in the Magento 1.6 Admin Backend.

1. [Log into your Magento Admin Backend](/support/edu/magento/how-to-log-into-magento-admin-panel/)
2. Go to **Customers ->> Customer Group**
3. Click on the **customer group** you want to delete
4. Click “**Delete Customer Group**“
5. Click “**OK**“
