# Changing the TO address in an aiContactSafe Joomla 2.5 contact form

## Where are emails sent to by default?

By default, emails sent from aiContactSafe forms will identify who the email is from using the **From email field** set in the Joomla 2.5 Server Global Configuration.

In this aiContactSafe tutorial, we will show you how to change the recipient address of your emails.

## To update the email address that receives aiContactSafe submissions:

1. ### Log into your Joomla Admin To make any changes to aiContactSave, you must first [log into your Joomla 2.5 Dashboard](/support/edu/joomla/joomla-3/how-to-log-in-to-administrative-dashboard/)
2. ### Click Components » aiContactSafe » Profiles In the top menu, hover over **Components**. Then hover over **aiContactSafe** and finally click **Profiles**
3. ### Select your Profile In the list of profiles, click the profile you are working with. If you are following along with our tutorial, we click on the **Default form**.
4. ### Update the Email address In the list of **Profile** settings, find the field labeled **Email address**. Enter the email address you would like to receive the aiContactSafe emails. 5. ### Save Changes and Test To save your changes, click the **Save** button in the top right menu. Be sure to test your contact form and ensure the message is being sent to the new email address.
