How to Enable/Disable the Auto-Delete Feature Using the Spam Filters Settings in cPanel

Spam Filters enhance your ability to manage unsolicited emails from cluttering your inbox. Once you have fine-tuned your Spam Threshold Score, you can turn on the Auto-Delete feature. This feature will automatically delete email messages assigned a spam score higher than your configured value. In this guide you can learn how to enable/disable the Auto-Delete feature from within the Spam Filters interface in cPanel.

Enable Auto-Delete

  1. Log into cPanel.

  2. Click on the Spam Filters icon under the Email section.

  3. Click on the Automatically Delete New Spam (Auto-Delete) toggle.Click on the image to enlarge screenshot.

    NOTICE: The toggle should change to blue and a green success message will appear, indicating: “Spam Auto-Delete has been enabled.”

Disable Auto-Delete

  1. Log into cPanel.

  2. Click on the Spam Filters icon, under the Email section.

  3. Click on the Automatically Delete New Spam (Auto-Delete) toggle.Click on the image to enlarge screenshot.

    NOTICE: The toggle should change to grey and a green success message will appear, indicating: “Spam Auto-Delete has been disabled.”

Congratulations! With the Auto-Delete feature enabled messages that are classified as spam emails will be deleted. To avoid losing important emails, you may consider disabling this feature and alternatively enable the Spam Box feature.
