## How to Kill MySQL Processes

The steps below are the same for cPanel and Webhost Manager (WHM).

1. [Log into cPanel](https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/cpanel/how-to-log-into-cpanel/) or [log into WHM](https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/whm/log-into-whm/)
2. Select **phpMyAdmin**
3. At the top, select **Status**, then **Processes**
4. Select **Kill**
