Does anyone have a solution for this problem? I set up a subdomain to develop a new site. Uploaded wordpress. Now, when I go to the subdomain/admin all I get is a 'page not found" . Steps taken so far - changed PHP to 5.5 - any other ideas? THANKS!

Sorry to hear about your issue with your subdomain. I checked the subdomains on your server and was able to access them without issue. The likely cause is propagation. If you are still experiencing the issue, you will want to clear your browser cache to see if that helps.

Kindest Regards,

Did it bring you to the wp-admin? Because it doesn't for me. I did clear the browser cache, but it didn't change anything. Any other thoughts? Thanks for your help!

Hello ADF,

I do see the issue now. You referenced subdomains earlier so that is what I checked. Yes, the wp-admin sends me to a 'page not found' page. You say you are on php 5.5 currently, what was the previous version? What version of WordPress are you currently running? Have you tested a fresh install on another test subfolder to see if it is persistent? If it is the php then it would occur there as well. If it does not, then it rules out the php given the versions of WordPress are the same or within the last few versions.

Kindest Regards,
