The homepage of the main domain of my Wordpress network / multisite as well as all other associated sites are all loading fine...
- Main URL: pressedhampress.com
- Other sites: jimtalbot.pressedhampress.com and withcheeseplease.pressedhampress.com

The problem is that when I try to access my login page, I get a "This site is no longer available." alert: http://pressedhampress.com/wp-login

Yesterday I had been working with a hosting technician to try working out some domain redirect and add-on issues via CPanel and wp-config.php but I abandoned those attempts and reverted everything back to their defaults, or so I thought. All sites and access were working fine last night but then this morning I was unable to load my login page.

Hello pressedadmin,

Thank you for contacting us about a problem logging into a WordPress multisite. We are happy to help. I reviewed your contacts with us, but will need some additional information.

What specifically was the last thing you were working on before this happened?

For example, what changes did you make in the wp-config file?

Did you make any changes to the file structure? I found many results online where this message displays when a blog has been deleted.

WordPress debugging may help provide more information into what is happening as well.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.

Thank you,
John-Paul

Hi John-Paul,

I was working yesterday to try and get this plugin working with my network per the instructions: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-mu-domain-mapping/installation/

However, that wasn't working for me, causing 404 error across the board. So I gave up, via file manager removed all new files that had been added and replaced items that had been edited with their original versions I had archived before starting. At that time I took a look at the sites and dashboard and everything seemed like it was back to normal.

The sites are still there, but I just can't access them now.

Thanks for your help!
Jim

I also wanted to add that I just went to the wp-admin page for the subdomain sites and was able to log into my network that way. It's only when I try logging in directly with my main domain that it causes the error. I'd still like to fix whatever is causing this problem.

Ok, I was able to fix the problem once I logged in via the secondary sites. For some reason their were other instances of my main domain listed in my "Sites" in my dashboard. I'm not sure when or why those created themselves, but by deleting them I seem to have restored access via the primary domain. Thanks!
