Hi,
I've used your tutorial (http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/wordpress/wordpress-introduction/installing-wordpress-using-your-temporary-url?tsrc=rsbedu) to change my wordpress url www.veganfamilyrecipes.com to a temp url.

However now I am not able to log in to wordpress. I am receiving two error messages. One directly above the login box stating: ERROR: Cookies are blocked due to unexpected output. For help, please see this documentation or try the support forums.

I have deleted all cookies and cache and have insured that cookies are allowed for wordpress.

The the other error message is showing up at the top of the page:

define('WP_HOME','http://ecbiz153.inmotionhosting.com/~*******'); define('WP_SITEURL','http://ecbiz153.inmotionhosting.com/~*******');
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/*****/public_html/wp-config.php:3) in /home/******/public_html/wp-login.php on line 414
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/******/public_html/wp-config.php:3) in /home/******/public_html/wp-login.php on line 426

(I've removed my cpanel username and replaced it with ******, not sure if that is something one should make public.) I didn't change anything file manager->wp.config.php other than those two lines states in the temp url guide.

I would appreciate any help to clear this up.

Thanks, Vanessa

Hi Vanessa,

Thank you for your question. I tested the front end of your Wordpress site on your Temp URL, and it seems to work successfully.

Unfortunately, without your username and password I cannot test/replicate the dashboard login errors.

I recommend contacting Live Tech Support, so you can provide account specific information, and they can test further.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
Thank you,

-John-Paul

For fix this issue check your log file(debug.log)

When checking your error log file, check the error logs for the date, you started to get the error. In error messages check if it says anything like: “Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at”) and then go to file path (file path :in debug log file) check where is the issue. some time due to white space end of the file or closing php (?>) tag causes this issue. remove the white space end of the file and check.

I also am getting ERROR: Cookies are blocked due to unexpected output. For help, please see this documentation or try the support forums.
But when I look at my log file all it tells me is the date, client number and "file does not exist". I must have 50 of the same errors in the log file. Nothing about header information though.
Where is the debug log file?

Also I looked for the ?> in the functions.php file to remove it according to something I read in the Wordpress support forum, but couldn't find it.

Do you have any other ideas?
