Cannot log to WHM

I just upgraded from a shared hosting to VPS and I can not log to WHM, cPanel works fine. Do I have to set a WHM password? I read somewhere both passwords are the same. Please confirm.

We see there are 2 bill items so we are having billing fix the account to only show the VPS server. When we are done fixing the upgrade, we will email you. My new VPS account has been suspended in the past minutes... and the old shared hosting appears as Active. Please comment.

Now I have two Active VPS 1000 accounts, pointing to different IP addresses and host names. I think I 'll wait a couple hours until you sort this out. Thanks.
