Category: Website Troubleshooting
OK.. MY OPEN CART ADMIN PANEL IS WORKING WITH FORCED HTTPS BUT FOR SOME REASON MY MAIN WEB IS SHOWING HTTPS WITH A RED SLASH THRU IT.. NO IDEA HOW TO SOLVE THIS ONE. I HAVE A DEDICATED SSL INSTALLED BUT REALLY NOR SURE WHY MY ADMIN DASHBOARD IN OPENCART IS HTTPS AND MY MAIN WEB ADDY IS SHOWING HTTPS WITH A RED SLASH.. I TRIED TO ADD THE "S" IN THE ADMIN CONFIG FILES BUT DONT KNOW IF I DID IT RIGHT OR LEFT SOMETING OUT.. THE OPEN CART TROUBLE SHOOTER SAYS TO ADD AN "S" TO THE CATEGORY.PHP AS WELL BUT I CANTFIND THAT PARTICULAR FILE.
I'm sorry you're having trouble enabling SSL on your OpenCart site. It sounds like you've made the changes needed in the OpenCart Dashboard. The two configuration files (both named config.php) are located inside the directory where you installed OpenCart and the Admin directory under that directory. For step-by-step instructions, please see our tutorial on <a href="http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/opencart/setting-up-payment-gateways/how-to-enable-ssl-connection-in-opencart">enabling SSL in your OpenCart site</a>.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.
