I recently decided to give Adobe Muse a try. The desktop versions work as expected but the phone versions are not found by the browser.
Here is the Muse JS redirect:
<script src=”scripts/museredirect.js?4231348958” type=”text/javascript”></script>

<script type=”text/javascript”>
Muse.Redirect.redirect(‘desktop’, ‘tablet/index.html’, ‘phone/index.html’, ‘’);
</script>

Any idea what the problem is? Is this a redirect script conflict? A known bug with Muse?

Hello Micropix,

Sorry to hear you're having problems with the re-directs in Adobe Muse. It's apparently a problem that's been discussed in the Adobe Forums. Here's the posts for this issue:

Adobe Forum - Mobile site made with muse not recognized once uploaded - any ideas?

Basically, you need to make sure that you are setting up the mobile site redirects to go to our hosting server. Muse apparently has provided server-side JS scripts which attempt to re-direct for you but they don't seem to be going to us.

In looking through this further this post from their forums might give you the answer you need:

Adobe Forums - what script do I use to redirect to new muse mobile site uploaded to an existing site?

One of the posts suggests this script clearly indicating where you can set the website location. I would try that and double-check with the documentation in Adobe concerning using a third-party host when publishing with Muse. Hopefully, this helps direct you towards the solution.

Apologies for not having a better answer, please let us know if you are able to get it going based on those posts, or if you need further assistance.

Regards,
Arnel C.

Thanks for the input. As it turned out, it wasn't the redirect script, I have it working. It was a file out of place and the cascade of errors that generates. SO, apparently the Adobe redirect script is solid - Muse is a mixed blessing, but it has come through just fine in this particular project.
