If I purchase an SSL certificate for my domain will my sub domains be covered too? For example I own, will be covered?

I would like an official confirmation on this, in fact InMotion has to mention whether the Dedicated SSL will cover the subdomains or not when we are about to buy the SSL here:

What is confusing me is the below recent answer by InMotion staff here:
In that answer he says an SSL Purchased by 99USD will cover all the subdomains

if the new answer is correct, please remove the old answer, or as I said above, mention clearly whether subdomains are covered or not in the same place where we purchase an SSL Certificate from InMotion

Regular SSLs purchased via InMotion cover and No subdomains are included. Each subdomain would have to have its own SSL unless you purchased a wildcard SSL. InMotion does not sell wildcard domains so it would have to be purchased by a third party.
