Hi,

I am currently setting up web store for my domain Aeskimo.com and was told that we require a Dedicated SSL to work with our payment gateway and webstore. However, we will have 3 separate webstores within this domain: Aeskimo.com, th.aeskimo.com and jp.aeskimo.com. Under this structure, would we only need on SSL Certificate (for Aeskimo.com) or do we require 3 SSL Certificates, one for each subdomain? Please let me know. Many thanks in advance for your help.

Hello Aeskimo,

Thanks for submitting a question about using SSL with subdomains. Yes, in general, a different SSL would be required for each subdomain, because each subdomain is considered a separate domain. However, there are wildcard SSL certificates available on the SSL market. We do not sell these with our SSL plan, but we can help install them if you decide to purchase one.

Best,
Christopher M.
