When uploading a header inmage in "Preferences/themes/header logo" the name is auto changed to 'store_logo_#'. In addition, the store name is incorrect when posting website link through facebook. Which file path do I need to follow to in cPanel/file manager to correct this?

Hello S.Snyder,

Thank you for your contacting us about an issue with files, and links being named incorrectly in PrestaShop. I spent quite some time testing and investigating this issue, and found it is due to a mispelling in your database. Specifically in your "ps_shop" table. It automatically generates the image name, and page alias using this setting.

You can correct this in the dashboard, but it will not fix existing image names and page links. So, you may have re-upload your images, and recreate your pages.

How to change your ps_shop setting:

  1. Login to your PrestaShop admin panel.

  2. Go to Preferences, then General
  3. .
  4. Next to Enable Multistore click Yes, then click the Save button (bottom right).

  5. Go to Advanced Parameters, then Multistore.

  6. You will then see the misspelled store name under Multistore Tree, click it.

  7. Your site will then be listed under Shops, click the Edit button to the right.

  8. Correct the store name, then click the Save button (bottom right).

  9. Go to Preferences, then General
  10. .
  11. Next to Enable Multistore click No, then click the Save button (bottom right).

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.

Thank you,
John-Paul
