When I click on 'Products' on the 'Catalog' drop-down menu, I receive the following error message -
!Bad SQL Query - Unknown column 'cp position' in 'field list'. How do I fix this problem?

Thanks for your reply, Arn. Here is more information. Prior to the problem, I had moved all the products from one category to another and then deleted the first category. Then I encountered the problem when I tried to go into Products to add new items.

From doing some searching on the error, It looks like others are getting the same thing leading to a suspected bug in Prestashop. Some users have cleared their browser data such as cache and cookies and resolved the issue, at least temporarily. I recommend keeping up with and replying to the following thread as it should get you pointed in the right direction:

Hello Elsades,

Thanks for asking your question. Unfortunately we need a little more information. Did you delete or add anything before you tried to go into Products? Did you install any plugin-ins, add-ons or themes? Did you try importing any data into the database?

Your login does not provide us enough information to look at an account and identify the issue. Can you please provide further information on the issue?

You can also find a lot of similar reports on this error: Bad SQL error. You can review that article and the steps they have taken to attempt to correct the issue.

I hope that helps! Please let us know if you require further assistance.

Arnel C.
