Hello ElizabethChanan,

Sorry for the problems with the password for OpenCart. Typically, you should be able to use the FORGOT PASSWORD option to regain access. In order to reset it, you will need to have cPanel access to the account. You can then use our tutorial - Resetting My OpenCart Admin Password - to recover the password.

I hope this helps to answer your question, please let us know if you require any further assistance.

Arnel C.

I have tried this but the didn't work. Tried using the Forgotten password function but no reminder was sent to my email?

Hello ElizabethChanan,

I tried looking in your account, and the default site is set to PrestaShop not OpenCart. Can you specify the URL that you're using with OpenCart, please? We need a little more information in order to find the issue that you're reporting.

Regards,
Arnel C.

Hello ElizabethChanan,

I went through and thoroughly examined your database and tried to reset it several different ways, but nothing appears to work. Somehow, your admin login user is damaged. Just to make sure that OpenCart works on your server, I setup a test installation under elizabethchanan.com/test. The admin is simply http://elizabethchanan.com/test/admin - user = admin and pw = passwordchanan. This works with no problems. I apologize that I couldn't fix your database to get that password change to work, but no matter what I tried, it failed. If you need to pursue that issue further, then you will need to try to contact OpenCart's tech support. We have tried everyway that we can to change it, but it was still not resulting a working login. Apologies again that I couldn't give you a straight aswer to immediately fix the issue.

I hope this helps to answer your question, please let us know if you require any further assistance.

Regards,
Arnel C.
