I have had goo luck changing the clor of my header to experiment with different looks but no luck at all adding images to my header. As far as I can tell I am doing it correctly but with no result.

Here is myt most recent attempt:

/* Header */
#header{padding-bottom:7px;border-bottom:3px solid #00008B;margin-bottom:7px; background-image: url ( top center;}

Hello simonbk,

Your syntax was nearly there. There were a couple of things that were keeping it from displaying. The first is the space between 'url' and the openeing '('. This caused a disconnection in the code and the url was not being referenced. The second were the commands after the image 'no-repeat top center'. Their presence was also causing the image value to be invalid.

Switch what you have with this line of code for it to function:

That being said, the image is quite large (2MB and 3008px x 2000px) so only the top portion of the image will display. That, and since it is linked directly to another site, you are at their mercy if they remove, change the image name, or even use another image with the same name in its place. It is best if you can get an image onto your server, then you can resize it so that it appears correctly and is optimized for speed by being a smaller file size overall.

Best Regards,
Scott M
