I had did a test upgrade from moodle 2.2 to 2.4 on however it also affected my main moodle site David from tech support had me renamed it to so we can have a copy of the original folder. we then did a new installation of moodle 2.4 and named it

I was having problems with both sites but it seems that James R did something to fix the site which I can access now but in reality it is the i need to access.

to my understanding after we did the new moodle 2.4 installation david "dropped the into the which now does not let me login. if you can help me fix this i would be so grateful.

Hello René ,

Thank you for contacting us.

Sorry for the trouble with your Moodle after your update. I added the following code to your config.php to diagnose the php errors.
<p style="margin-left:20px;">ini_set ('display_errors', 'on');
ini_set ('log_errors', 'on');
ini_set ('display_startup_errors', 'on');
ini_set ('error_reporting', E_ALL);</p>
When I added that we got the following errors and Notices.
<p style="margin-left:20px;">Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$name in /home/userna5/public_html/moodle/filter/activitynames/filter.php on line 107<br />
Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$name in /home/userna5/public_html/moodle/filter/activitynames/filter.php on line 110<br />
Warning: require_once(/home/userna5/public_html/moodle/blocks/workflow/locallib.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/userna5/public_html/moodle/report/workflow/lib.php on line 29<br />
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/userna5/public_html/moodle/blocks/workflow/locallib.php' (include_path='/home/userna5/public_html/moodle/lib/zend:/home/userna5/public_html/moodle/lib/pear:.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/userna5/public_html/moodle/report/workflow/lib.php on line 29</p>
When tracing the problem I found the /public_html/moodle/report/workflow/lib.php file had a reference to the soundcloud and poodll repository. The following is the path to it on your server.
<p style="margin-left:20px;">public_html/moodle/repository/poodll
I renamed them to the following.
<p style="margin-left:20px;">public_html/moodle/repository/poodll.old
The page now loads however, you will want to check those repositories for updates or a new version as they appear to be incompatible with the Moodle upgrade that was done.

To diagnose the site, please change the admin password to the one you gave us for login so I can replicate where the error is occurring. DO NOT put your password or login in this forum because its public and your password will be compromised. Once I can get logged into your Moodle I can enable the error reporting for that site and proceed with the diagnostic. Thank you for your patience.

Best Regards,
James R
