Category: General Information
when I type in my cPanel username and password, it is rejected. What should I do, can I reset it?
Sorry to hear you are getting an error when logging into your cPanel. You say it is rejected, can you provide the exact error message you are receiving? How are you attempting to log in? Are you logging in via the AMP (Account Management Panel) of with by using one of the URL formats such as http://www.domain.com/cpanel or http://cpanel.domain.com?
If you need more information on any of those methods, see our article on how to log into cPanel.
Typically, the cPanel will reject a login attempt when either the username or password is incorrect. You can find your cPanel username within the AMP. You can also reset your cPanel password via the AMP.
